Purification of human Neutrophil Granular Proteases by liquid Chromatography

Abstract

|
Human leukocyte elastases were pmfied by gel filhat o and ion exchange-chromatography. For gel filtration step, Uhrogel AcA 54 gave extremly good resolution and separation for highly positive charged proteins. Ultrogel AcA 54 also showed excellent separation dwarf ermcs of taro different we of highly positive charged molecules like elastase and cMwpsin G.
Both CM-Cellulose and CM-Sephadex showed the possibility to separate the individual molecules of three isozyrnes. CM-Sephadex showed the better resolution for separation of individual is(zyrne without contamination of cathepsin G molecules.
